Gloria Seeney

God took Gloria to his garden where there is peace and rest on Thursday, November 13, 2014. Gloria Eleanor Seeney, 84, of Chester, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Gerard R. Seeney. She was born on November 27, 1929 in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Samuel Cloister Stover and Tillie Irene Shirk Stover. She was a member of Phillips Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and American Legion Post #284 Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed cross-stitching, quilting and thimble collecting. She is survived by her daughter, Carla J. Pulley of Chester; grandsons, Anthony L. Pulley (Kimberley R. Pulley) and Matthew L. Pulley; great-grandsons, Nathaniel L. Pulley and Hunter John Pulley. She is also survived by four sisters, Kathleen Bensing, Lillian Stover and Marian Oster of Pennsylvania and Romaine Eckman of Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
