Gloria Webster

Gloria Clarke Webster, 70, of Matoaca passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. Born on November 18, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Randolph and Winnifred Knowles Clarke. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, and attended Matoaca High School as one of its original students, and was also one of the first Majorette Squad. Gloria was a retired insurance agent and Music Teacher. She is survived by her husband, Tony Wade Webster; sons, Jeffrey R. Clarke, Eric Daniel Webster (Destiny); daughter, Leah Womack (Rodney); stepchildren, Dacia Dyches (Damien), Trent Webster (Shana), Angela Webster; thirteen grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann Rickman; brother in-law, Kevin Webster (Kim); sister in-law, Brenda Webster (Roy); and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Angela and Kayla Webster, Delores and Al Perkinson for their constant and devoted care of Mrs. Webster. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in East Matoaca Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night, September 5, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers are welcomed or contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
