Gloria Wells

Gloria V. Wells 84, of Colonial Heights went to be with her Lord on Saturday December 12, 2015. She was born in San Francisco, California on April 4, 1931 to the late Albert and Marie Bernot Amado Velasquez. Mrs. Wells was a charter member of Second Chance Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband, John Wells; seven children, Yvonne Freeman (Richard) of Fountain Valley, CA, Rubert Lee Phillingane, Jr. (Maebell) of Prince George, VA, Marie Ford (Roy) of Youngsville, NC, Sherrie Baldwin of Tucson, AZ, Michael Phillingane (Melisa) of Colonial Heights, VA, Kimberlie Phillingane of Jasper, IN and Hollie Ritchison (Donnie) of Henderson, KY; three sisters; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in the Mausoleum of Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia with the Reverend David Prather officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday December 15, 2015 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
