Grace B. Medlock 88, of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday September 8, 2013. She was born January 4, 1925 to the late Oscar Lee and Lessie Garrison Lewis, and was preceded in death by a son Jerome Lewis Thornton, Sr. and a sister, Sarah Patterson. She was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Mrs. Medlock is survived by her husband Roger W. Medlock, sons Jesse L. Biscoe, Jr., of Petersburg and Randy O. Biscoe of Chesterfield, daughters Lessie T. Moore, Elva T. Thompson both of Chesterfield, Linda T. Kopeshke of Morris, IL. and Tara B. Bish of S. Chesterfield, brother David Lewis, sisters, Jane Patterson, Glory Mack and Sharon McCrobie, all of Charlottesville fourteen grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2013 in Swift Creek Baptist Church 18510 Branders Bridge Road Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, with the Reverend Dr. Steve Felker officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday September 11. 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
