Granville Gary

Granville B. Gary, 86, of Chester, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 23, 1927 to the late Claude S. and Ada Agusta Fraiser Gary. Mr. Gary retired from DuPont, and was a member of Advent Christian Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Frances S. Gary; four daughters; Ada Jannette, Karen Lee, Anita Kathleen and Arline Marie; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Nichole, Jennifer, Jessica, Michael, Martin, Bradley, Frances and Samantha; thirteen great grandchildren, Vanessa, Jeremy, Aleesha, Rebecca, Kaylee, Sean, Joshua, Destiny, Wayne, Kendra, Laura, Bradley and Dakota. Funeral Services for Mr. Gary were private. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
