Gregory Bridgeman

Gregory Allen Bridgeman, of Virginia Beach, a native of Dinwiddie County, died at the age of 58, Sept. 22, 2008, following a serious illness. He was the son of the late Allen Mayes "Doc" Bridgeman and Mary Nanny Bridgeman. He was also preceeded in death by his nephew, T. Scott Trimmer. He is survived by his son, Matthew Randolph Chappell of Georgia. he is also survived by his sister, Sarah Bridgeman Arterburn of Dinwiddie; two nieces, Donna Hudson King, and Beverly Hudson Millirons and husband, Rich W. Millirons of Inwood, W.Va. He is also survived by his great-niece, Jennifer Smith Baker; one great-great-niece; and four great-great-nephews. He also felt blessed to have had so many other family members and friends during his life. A memorial service will be held at Smyrna Baptist Church at 18725 Carson Road, Dinwiddie, at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25. Arrangements by the Petersburg Chapel of the E.
