Gregory Kropp

Gregory William Kropp married Alice Marian Peithman August 21, 1973 in the Farmer City, Illinois United Methodist Church. Greg died August 21, 2017 at MCV hospital in Richmond, VA on their 44th anniversary. Greg was born September 24, 1945 to Campbell Elliott Kropp and Eleanor Gregory Kropp of Nebraska City, Nebraska. Greg's sister Carolyn Kropp lives in Denver, CO. Greg and Alice have three children. William Gregory Kropp (Tonya Kropp), Marian Alice Kropp (Jennifer Jackson), and Robert Warren Louis Kropp. The grandchildren are Miranda, Mikayla, Melody, Miles, Campbell and Lillian. Greg attended the University of Nebraska and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA with a bachelor's degree. Greg was a member of the U.S. Civil Service and worked for the Department of the Army for 37 years. The Greg Kropp family are members of Second Presbyterian Church, 419 W. Washington Street, Petersburg, VA 23803 where the memorial service will be held Friday afternoon August 25th, 2017 at 4 p.m. with a reception to follow in the church McIlwain Hall. Memorials may be made to Second Presbyterian Church or to the charity of one's choice. Burial will be private. Our family are among the many who value Psalm 23.
