Gwen Lutterman

Gwen Lutterman, 78, of Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late William D. and Ivena Dargitz Welch. She is survived by her husband, Earl A. Lutterman; three daughters, Carmelita L. Beasley and husband, Dennis of Fredericksburg, Cherlyne L. Burton and husband, Ed of Matoaca, and Caronel L. Woodring and husband, Wayne of Missouri; two brothers, Frank and Dudley Welch both of New Mexico; one sister, Velma Cordell of Texas; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the nurses and staff of MCV Hospital and Crater Community Hospice. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Gale Kirkman officiating. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chesterfield Community Church, P. O.
