Harriet Seal

Harriet Eubank Seal, 86, of Chesterfield, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Chippenham Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Stonewall Jackson and Kathryn Smith Eubank, and was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Jackson Eubank. Mrs. Seal was a member of Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church, and a retired Crossing Guard for Colonial Heights School System. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Edward M. Seal; a daughter, Kathryn S. Nicely and husband, Perry W. Nicely of Chesterfield; two grandsons, Edward Shane Nicely and wife, Dara Goodman Nicely of Ashland, and Shawn Jackson Nicely of Dinwiddie; three great-grandchildren, Emily Ann Carol Nicely, David Edward Nicely, and Brette Katherine Nicely. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 13, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Richard Geoghegan officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
