Harry Larch Sr.

Harry Lewis Larch Jr., 78, of Colonial Heights went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Born on February 18, 1945, he was the son of the late Harry Lewis Larch and Dolly Dee.

He served in the United States Army, and after leaving he proudly served 35 years for the United States Postal Service at the Brook Road office in Richmond. Harry was an avid fan of history, which was matched only for his love to travel. A child to military parents, Harry has been to many far-off locations which include Germany, Panama, Taiwan and many others. He was also a huge Elvis Presley fan, if he wasn’t listening to Elvis then he was listening to sermons by John Hagee.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803.
