Harvey Jackson

Harvey N. (Skeeter) Jackson Jr., 79, of Chesterfield, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at John Randolph Medical Center. He was the son of the late Ida Wheelhouse Jackson and Harvey N. Jackson Sr. Mr. Jackson was an electrician with B&W Tobacco Company, Rudy Hawkins, and Star Tobacco. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rachel W. Jackson; two daughters, Melody E. Frazier, and Laura Lee Selden; two granddaughters, Amy Masterson (Terry), and Bobbie Jo Tanner (Joe); five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Emily, Rachel, Savannah, and Terry; a sister, Rose O'Berry. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
