Hazel B. Livesay Stripp, 84, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Chesterfield County to the late John William and Blanche Spain Livesay, and was the widow of Edward T. Stripp. Hazel was preceded in death by her beloved pet, Miss Priss. She is survived by her children, Donna Stripp Williamson of Dinwiddie, Edward Wayne Stripp and wife, Faye of Chesterfield, and Douglas Thomas Stripp of Key West, Florida; five grandchildren, Sherry W. Farrow, Debra L. Marshall, Alfred L. Williamson Jr. and wife, Trish, Michelle W. Elder and husband, Mike, and Matthew Stripp; seven great-grandchildren, Crystal, Jesse, Sydney, Michael, Abby, Matthew, and Christian; one great-great-granddaughter, Lilly Ann; three sisters, Frances Anderson, Ruth Burnham, and Wilma Howlett; her beloved dachshund, Cody. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April, 6, 2010 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with Pastor Rodney Jenkins officiating.
