Helen Arnold

Helen Marie Cooper Arnold, 96, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018. Born in a small West Virginia town on November 21, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Nettie Westfall Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Parker Lee Arnold and her son, Parker Lee Arnold. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara J. Cook (John) of Tilghman, Maryland; three grandchildren, Beth Kruse, Geoffrey Arnold, and Jaye Arnold; six great-grandchildren; niece and nephew, Jan and Curtis Cooper. The things she enjoyed the most was time spent with family. She also loved happy hour, reading books, beach trips, scary movies, candy and so much more. She was funny, strong willed, opinionated, and kind. She will be greatly missed. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Rachel Luck officiating. Burial will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805.
