Helen Lipscomb

Helen C. Lipscomb 92, of Richmond, died Saturday October 25, 2008 at the Beth Sholom Home of Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Charles Wright and Annie Rainey Crowder and the widow of Leonard Harold Lipscomb. Mrs. Lipscomb was a member of First Baptist Church Hopewell, and the Singing Saints of First Baptist Church she was also a former volunteer with the John Randolph Medical Center Auxiliary .She is survived by two sons Leonard W. Lipscomb and wife Debra of Richmond, Michael S. Lipscomb of Richmond, two grandsons Leonard Scott Lipscomb, Matthew Harold Lipscomb and wife Brandy of Chesterfield, three great grandchildren and one sister Hilda C. Killinger of Elizabethtown PA. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. Jeffrey Raymond officiating. Burial will take place Tuesday 12: 30 p.m. in Asbury Cemetery, McKenney Virginia.
