Helen Perkinson

Helen S. Perkinson, 92, of Chesterfield, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Lucy Corr Village. Born in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Svelto Straka, and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Perkinson, and a son, Joseph W. Perkinson. Mrs. Perkinson was a member of Gill Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Charles S. Perkinson of Chesterfield; four grandchildren, Jennifer P. Herrick and husband, Steve, Joseph E. Perkinson and wife, Reneé, Ivana G. Perkinson, Desiree C. Perkinson; and a daughter-in-law, Cora L. Perkinson. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2011 in Gill Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 10726 River Road, Chesterfield, Virginia 23838 with Pastor John Brothers officiating.
