Henry Burnett

Henry T. Burnett ("Hank"), 88, of Hopewell, passed away May 9, 2018. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Hopewell. Hank served in the United States Air Force. He was employed by Honeywell, previously Allied Chemical, and retired after 40 years of service. He was preceded in passing by his devoted wife, Joyce Anne Burnett; and sister, Virginia Royal. He is survived by his sons, Ricky T. Burnett (Patti), of Knoxville, TN, and Ray S. Burnett (Shanelle), of Dinwiddie, VA; daughters, Robin B. Garner (Raymond), of DeWitt, VA, and Rhonda B. Barker (Denny), of Dinwiddie, VA; sisters, Doris Whitehead, of Colonial Heights, VA, and Arline Wicks, of Sutherland, VA; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 in the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Rd, with Pastor Joe Sumner officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, South Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service on Friday 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
