Henry Dixon

Henry "Slim" Ellis Dixon 79, of Prince George, passed away Tuesday March 22, 2011 at his residence. He was the son of the late Felix and Ollie Mae Taylor Dixon Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Jean Dixon, and a son Daniel Ross Dixon. He is survived by his children Linda Kay Meadows, Billy James Adkins, Debra Lynn Power, David Ellis Dixon, Elva Danise Williamson, Tommy Wayne Dixon, twenty three grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 26, 2011 in the Petersburg Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 3935 S. Crater Road, 23805 with Pastor Wayne Marburger officiating. Interment will be Monday March 28, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park 631 North Witchduck Road Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462. The family will receive friends Friday March 25, 2011 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
