Henry Paris

Henry Clarence Paris, 88, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in North Carolina he was the son of the late Henry Ambrose and Beulah Register Paris, the widower of Rebecca Stigall Paris, and was preceded in death by granddaughter, Anne Renee Paris. He was a member of Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church, a veteran of the Army Air Force, having served during World War II; and a member of the Colonial Heights American Legion Post #284. Mr. Paris was a retired Driver with Carolina Coach Trailways. He is survived by a son, Henry Whitworth Paris of Yorktown; two grandchildren, Steve Paris of Front Royal and Jill Paris of Yorktown; his devoted companion, Mavis Kaichen and extended family, Joe and Patricia Raucci, JoAnna Raucci and Dianna Stone. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 in Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church, 17120 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Richard Geoghegan officiating. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church, or the Colonial Heights Fire & EMS, P.O.
