Herbert Hanson

Herbert Bruce Hanson, 60, of Petersburg, passed away Monday, August 23, 2010 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Kentucky, he was the son of the late James B. Hanson. Mr. Hanson is survived by his wife, Elizabeth M. Hanson; a daughter, Crystal Leigh Hanson; a son, Christopher James Hanson; his mother, Charlotte P. Hanson; brothers and sisters, John Louis Hanson (Alison), Cynthia H. Mayton (Jeff), Evelyn H. Palco (Eric), Andrea H. Stutz (Pierre), Robert W. Hanson (Connie), and Marcia H. Cox (Glen); numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with Father Lou Ruoff, Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
