Herbert Parsons

Herbert Parsons went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 30, 2015. He was born to Charlie and Vesta Parsons on March 11, 1928. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary; son, Joe (Melodie); daughter, Susan (Darryl); grandchildren, Miranda (Kevin) McLaughlin, Marissa Parsons, Shelby McDonald (Preston), Noah, Makayla, and Grady; great-grandchildren, Adelaide and Finley McLaughlin. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2015 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to Smyrna Baptist Church, 19871 Carson Road, Dinwiddie, Virginia 23841.
