Hope Provost

Hope (Irene) A. Provost, 58, of Prince George, Virginia passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at her residence. Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Leon J. Gonyo Sr. and Jean Saunders Gonyo, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Ermey and David Gonyo. Mrs. Provost was a retired Accountant for Dennis M. Stuart C.P.A. She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Provost Jr.; a son, Shawn Provost of Prince George; five brothers and sisters, Leon Gonyo Jr. and companion, Nancy Tedford, Nancy Gonyo and companion, John Reese, Mary Rivers and husband, Kevin, Thomas Gonyo and wife, Lorinda, and Sara Gonyo and companion Dean LaFountain. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060.
