Ian Butler

Ian Noah Butler, 16, of Colonial Heights, tragically passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017. He is survived by his loving mother, Sherrie Davis; father, George Butler, Jr.; two sisters Sara Edwards and Megan Phillips; grandparents, Cary and Trudy Davis; and many other loving relatives. Ian loved sports, especially baseball. He coached a special needs baseball team in Colorado. Ian loved music. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and always made people laugh. Ian never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. He always put other people before himself and had a big heart. A funeral service will be held 12 noon on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Colonial Heights High School, 3600 Conduit Road Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with Pastor Andrew Cheatham officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Va. 23834. Interment will be private. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
