Ilse Eudailey

Ilse E. Eudailey, 82, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at her residence. Born in Giessen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Frieda Burkert Eckhardt, and was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ralph B. "Pete" Eudailey. Mrs. Eudailey was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, and a retired Stock Room Manager with AAFES at Fort Lee. She is survived by her daughter, Monika Eudailey of Chesterfield; her son, Ralph C. "Chris" Eudailey and wife, Karen of Chesterfield; two granddaughters, Jennifer N. Kroon and husband, Matthew of Clarksville, Tennessee and Brooke E. Honaker and husband, Alan of Chesterfield; three sisters, Waltraud Bender and husband, Hans, Christa Schaefer and husband, Horst, and Monika Wiegand all of Germany; several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Scott Price officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to Mt.
