Irise Shepperson

Irise M. Shepperson, 73, of S. Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Tyler's Retreat at Ironbridge. She was the daughter of the late Robert E. Mann and Nellie Wray Denson, and was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Carl A. Shepperson Sr. Irise regularly attended Oaklawn Baptist Church, and was formerly employed with Titmus Optical. She is survived by her sons, Carl A. Shepperson Jr. and wife, Robin, and Rodney A. Shepperson and girlfriend, Cassandra; a grandson, Richard A. Shepperson, and four sisters, Lillie Kite, Violet Frith, Rosebud Kite and husband, Bobby, and Daisy St. Clair. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Oaklawn Baptist Church, 7925 Hickory Road, S. Chesterfield, Virginia 23803 with the Reverend Wayne Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Gill Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 10726 River Road, Chesterfield, Virginia 23838. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2003 Boulevard.
