Iva Nimmo

Iva Stone Nimmo, 90, of Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at her residence. Born in Dinwiddie County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ann Elizabeth Bailey Stone, and the widow of Marshall E. Nimmo. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Tobb Nimmo and a sister, Olevia Hoye Stone Hargrave. Mrs. Nimmo was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, formerly known as Ettrick Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and member of the Friendship Club. She is survived by her children, Wanda Carol Jarman, James Edward Nimmo, Ronald Thomas Nimmo (Carolyn), and Patricia Nimmo Pletcher (Charles); grandchildren, Jennifer Hartman Nix (Brian), Lindsay Marie Hartman, and Jeffery Marshall Nimmo; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Taryn, Shane, Blake and Corin all of S. Chesterfield; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Scott Price officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt.
