Jacqueline Crutchfield

Jacqueline "Hope" Crutchfield, 51, of Disputanta passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 surrounded by her family. Born January 26, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Jacob W. and Rachel L. Newton, and was also preceded in death by her son, Colby Dalton Crutchfield. After graduating from Hopewell High School in 1984, Hope worked for Food Lion Distribution Center for over 26 years. She found solace when visiting the beach and was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend who will be missed greatly. She is survived by her dedicated husband of 7 years, Cecil Jennings Perry; son, Zachary Charles Crutchfield and fiancé, Emily; siblings, Gregory Todd Newton, Jennifer Diane Newton, Jason Downs Newton; two nieces, Rachel Nicole Harrison and Brianna Sue Peacock. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, November 4, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S.
