Jacqulyn Jones

Jacqulyn Mae Carroll Jones, 90, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. She was born on December 12, 1928 in Corbin, Kentucky. She rejoins the following in heaven, her parents, John and Rose Houchuns Carroll; her husband of 42 years, Thomas Allen Jones Sr.; three brothers, John, Bob and Jack (her twin) Carroll; and four sisters, Ada Hawks, Zelma Wade, Beatrice Turner, and Eloise Yeary. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. Jacqulyn graduated Flatwood High School where she starred as a basketball player. She was a Beam Operator for Allied Chemical in Chesterfield County and was an Optimist Mrs. of Colonial Heights. Her favorite flowers were yellow roses, she always put others first, and beautifully and lovingly raised five children, Tommy Jones, Robbie Jones, Cathy Ross, Mikie Jones, and Stevie Jones; 10 grandkids; 17 great-grandkids; two great-great-grandkids. Friends are asked to gather for a graveside service to be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Bermuda Memorial Park, 1901 Bermuda Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831.
