James Edward Burke II (Crunch), 60, of Chesterfield died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Chippenham Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Burke. Mr. Burke was a member of Bassmasters, and loved music and fishing. He is survived by his mother, Jane D. Burke, his children, Heather Barnes and husband, Charles, Erica Stamper and husband, William, and Matthew Burke and wife, Ashley; grandchildren, C.J. and Kaity Barnes, Ashley and Landon Stamper, and Matthew Jernell. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. James Pfost officiating. Burial of cremains will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends following the committal at the residence.
