James Dundon

James Edward Dundon of Chester entered into a new life on 2/12/09 after 91 great years. Born and raised in Harrisville, NY he later met his wife Aileen Giles in North Carolina while serving in the Army. Upon his retirement at Ft. Lee as a field commissioned Lt. Colonel, he resided in Chester for over 40 years. A veteran of WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars he was a decorated war hero. He will be missed by all who knew him including his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 18th at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Colonial Heights, with visitation at 6 p.m. and mass at 7 p.m. Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery on April 23, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. with full military honors.
