James Edwards

James Walker Edwards 76, of Colonial Heights, passed away Thursday December 10, 2009 at the Medical College of Virginia. He was a United States Army Veteran. Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife Shirley T. Edwards, a daughter Pamela E. Melvin and husband Michael R. Melvin of Colonial Heights, grandson Anthony M. Melvin, and his best buddy Tigger. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday December 14, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Virginia; with the Reverend David Prather officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday December 13, 2009 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
