James Floyd

James Thomas Floyd 92, of Matoaca, passed away Sunday January 26, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center. He was born March 1, 1921 in Ettrick, Virginia to the late Thomas G. and Lucy Brown Floyd. Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his wife Bessie A. Floyd. He was a W.W. II., United States Army Veteran. Mr. Floyd is survived by a nephew, Brian Barnes; a niece, Mary Barnes; and numerous friends. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday January 29, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia with the Reverend Bob Lamb officiating. The visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
