James Fred

Jim "Pop" Fred, 54, of Chesterfield, passed away on April 16, 2013. He was the son of the late Robert and Marie Fred and was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Lynn Fred. Jim was an avid golfer and an auxiliary member of VFW Post #637. He is survived by three daughters, Christina Grimes and husband, Willie, Lauren Fred, and Sarah Fred; four granddaughters, Haleigh, Madison, Aubrey, and Taylyn. Two sisters, Jackie Powell and Judy Fred; a brother, Bob Fred; step mother, Gerry Fred; and faithful "Wilfred" Vicky. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
