James Heasley Sr.

James N. Heasley Sr., 92, of Colonial Heights, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2018. Born in Smithtown Branch, New York, he was the son of the late Ambrose and Grayce Conn Heasley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ozog Heasley and a daughter, Judith A. Muldoon. Mr. Heasley was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, and a retired Technical Writer for Grumman Aerospace. He was a United States Navy submarine veteran, having served during World War II. Mr. Heasley is survived by his son, Dr. James N. Heasley Jr. and wife, Louise Good; a daughter, Jacqueline M. Alban and husband, John E. Alban; grandchildren, John James Alban (Nelene Wright), James Robert "Rocky" Alban, Joseph Thomas Alban (Kayla Bessant), James Joseph Heasley, Thomas Joseph Muldoon, Paul Thomas Muldoon, and Kim Marie Machado; four great-grandchildren; and his canine companion, Daisy.
