James Jones Jr.

James Randolph "Randy" Jones, Jr., 52, of Chester, passed away October 4, 2018. He was born to the late Gladys Wright and James Randolph Jones, Sr. on October 7, 1965. Randy served in the United States Navy and was in the homebuilding industry for over 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, dogs, and riding motorcycles. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and they will always remember him as a "Good Guy." He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Melanie Davis Jones; children, Justin Blake Jones (Kathryn), and Taylor Brooke Goodwyn (Brandon); and dogs, Oscar and Charlie. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia, 23834.
