James Navary

James Thomas Navary was a wonderful man who truly loved his family and friends. He passed from this life peacefully at home with his family on Monday, July 20, 2020. His life was his family and close friends. He was funny, smart, and caring. He loved music and knew all the groups and musicians and all the words to the songs...which made for some crazy parties he orchestrated back in the day. His door was always open during good times and in hard times. Jim is predeceased by his parents, Frank E. Navary and Eileen H. Navary. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Navary of Sutherland; daughter, Jill Navary of Sutherland, daughter, Jayne Jones of Tucson; grandchildren, Sophie Jones, Vivian Jones, Zander Jones and Fiona Jones of Tucson; cousin, Linda Szymanski (John) of Pittsburgh; sister-in-law, Charmaine Steve (George) of Lake Lynn, cousin, Melani Zyla (Luke) of Parkersburg; many nieces, nephews and cousins; wonderful Kappa Sigma Fraternity brothers; special co-workers from Ft. Lee; funny cohorts in crime on Amazon and Ebay; amazing colleagues at Weichert Realtors Brockwell & Associates; and many friends. The family would like to thank all the friends and family who visited, emailed, texted, Facebooked, and messaged during Jim’s battle with cancer. Your love and concern meant so much to him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Visitation will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Jefferson Davis Highway, S. Chesterfield, Virginia 23834 on Monday, July 27, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. We will share stories aloud at 6:00 p.m. if you would like to get your best story together. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at St. Ann Catholic Church, followed by burial at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery.
