James Neely

James Ray Neely, 77, of Colonial Heights, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Colonial Heights Health Care Center. James was an associate pastor for 23 years at Washington Heights Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Neely is survived by his wife Carol; two sons, James, and wife Ann of Jasper, Indiana, Kenneth, and wife Julie of Evanston, Illinois; three daughters, Patricia Zemmer, and husband David, of Brazil, Sandra Lewis, and husband Donald of Midlothian, Va, and Janie Street, and husband John of Los Angeles, California; 14 Grandchildren; 7 Great-grandchildren; and a sister JoAnne Meihls of Collierville, Tennessee. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2010 at Colonial Heights Baptist Church 1720 Jefferson David Highway Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with Reverend Dr. Randall Hahn officiating. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. day of the service.
