James Nester Iii

James "Bubba" Nester III., of Prince George, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016. He was born January 2, 1954 to the late James Oscar Nester Jr., and Mary Daniel Nester. James was a Cold Mill Operator. He is survived by his wife, Pam Nester; two sons, James O. Nester IV., and wife, Maria, Matthew R. Nester; granddaughter Shailyn Nester; all of Prince George, two sisters, Lynn Simmons and husband, Hunter of Chesterfield, Mary Jo Smith of Nags Head; nieces and nephews, Braden Simmons and wife, Shelly, Amy Dean and husband, Bo, Tea Smith and other numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 in the Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Barry Ginn officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
