James Parham

James Alonza Parham, age 74, went to be with the Lord on June 8. He had been in bad health for three years. Surviving are his wife, Mereline Bridges Parham; son, Jamie and wife Joni; daughter, Annette; six grandchildren, Jason Sullivan, Brandon Bridges, Randy L. Bridges, Tiffany Bridges, Amanda Cash and Brittany Parham; also nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are one brother, Robert Parham Jr.; and sister, Margaret DeTrano. Pa Pa will be missed by all. Family will receive friends at E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, on Monday, June 11, 2012, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Ivey Memorial Methodist Church on Harrowgate Road in Chester, Va.
