James Reese

James Lewis Reese James Lewis Reese, 67, of Dinwiddie County, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg after a brief illness. James was a home insulator having worked for Virginia Home Insulation until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Aileen Robertson Reese. He is survived by his father, Preston Lewis Reese; two brothers, Floyd A. Reese, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Dinwiddie and Johnny M. Reese and wife, Linda of Colonial Heights; a nephew, Floyd A. Reese Jr. and wife, Amy; a great niece, Raichel of Henrico County; an aunt, Kittye Strickland of Oxford, Mississippi; and numerous cousins and friends. James loved his family, coffee, T.V. and his beloved dog, "Sammy". A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 2:30 pm at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George County with the Rev. Gene Balance, officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the Crater Road Chapel of E.
