James Rogers

James Edwin Rogers, 24, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. James was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joan Bennett. He is survived by his mother, Melisa Bennett of Petersburg; his father, Jeffrey Rogers and wife, Kathi of Prince George; three brothers, Rob Bennett of Petersburg, Christopher and David Rogers both of Prince George; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Shirley Rogers of Carson; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory 3935 S. Crater Road with the Reverend Tammy Hayes and the Reverend Pamela Rae Seeley officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Metro Area Support Services 302 S. Crater Rd.
