James Schenck

James "Jimmy" Marvin Schenck 71, of Ford, passed away Thursday November 21, 2013 at the Medical College of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father Benjamin Schenck and his wife Jennie M. Schenck. Mr. Schenck retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company and was also a Farmer. He was a member of Woods United Methodist Church in Chesterfield County. Left to cherish his memories are his children Patricia A. Moore, James M Schenck Jr. and (Sandra), Edith L. Schenck, Ron E. Schenck, mother Bernice Perkinson Schenck, grandchildren, Brandon E. Garrison, Sean A. Moore, Katie A. Schenck, Benjamin H. Schenck, great-grandchildren Brendon S. Garrison, brother Leslie W. Schenck, sister Carol Jean Matthews and (Luther), and numerous nieces , nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday November 25, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Gene C. Tatum and the Reverend Joseph Carson officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial park Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday November 24, 2013 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
