James Story

James Allen Story, 70, of Colonial Heights, Virginia passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Southside Medical Center. Born on July 28, 1951 in Petersburg, Virginia, he was the son of the late Joe Bennie Story Sr. and Mary Octavia Story. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Joe Bennie Story Jr. and his sister, Betty Jean Story.

James retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company after many dedicated years. He is survived by his daughter, Miranda Kepple and husband, Ian; three nieces, Trena Lipford and husband, Michael, Teresa Rook and husband, Steve and Sunny Flamiano; and great nieces and nephews, Cody Fisher, Eric Fisher, Gabrielle Rook, LeAnn Rook, and Christopher Rook.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
