James Wilkerson

James Monroe Wilkerson, 83, of Prince George County, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at John Randolph Medical Center. Mr. Wilkerson was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church of Carson and a Mason in the Edwards Lodge of Stony Creek for 50 years. Mr. Wilkerson was predeceased by his parents Jesse Daniel, Sr. and Myrtie Temple Wilkerson, a brother Jesse Daniel Wilkerson, Jr. and a sister, Virginia Mastronardi. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kathleen "Kitty" Wilkerson and a son, James Allen Wilkerson and wife, Terri of Prince George County, two grandchildren, April Diane Wilkerson and Andrew David Wilkerson, one sister Shirley Munford and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 2, 2008 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 3-4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 1 2008 at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road.
