James Wynn

James Parker "J.P" Wynn, 68, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Colonial Heights Health Care Center, where he had been a resident for 22 years. Born in Petersburg, he was preceded in death by his parents, Archer Parker Wynn and Irene Spencer Wynn. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. He is survived by nine cousins; special friends, Ben Ketron and Al Wagner, who was also his Deacon. The family would like to thank the Staff of the Colonial Heights Health Care Center for the love and care that was giving to J.P. for 22 years. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Dr. Andy Brockelman officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery Petersburg, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to Mt.
