Jane Brekke

Jane C. Brekke, 81, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Chippenham Medical Center. Born in Poland she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Natalia Sadowski Kazperski. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Richard L. Brekke; her son, Richard Mark Brekke; and four brothers. Mrs. Brekke was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, and the owner of Jane's Produce since 1970. She is survived by a daughter, Colette Brekke of Colonial Heights; grandchildren, Kristina, Angela, and Karl Lee; ten great grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Sunset Memorial Park, 1901 West Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
