Jane Burke

Jane Doss Burke, 88, of Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Lucy Corr Village. Born in Appomattox County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Chas Douglas and Gladys Agee Burke. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Burke, and a son, James Edward Burke II. She is survived by a grandson, Matt Burke of Chesterfield; two granddaughters, Heather Burke Barnes and husband, Chuck of Colonial Heights and Erica Burke Stamper of Chesterfield; great-grandchildren, C.J. Barnes, Landon Stamper, Matthew Jernell, Eric Burke, Ashley Stamper and Kaity Barnes. Interment of ashes will be held at 12 noon Thursday, December 12, 2013 in Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803. Flowers are welcome. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
