Janet Jordan

Janet Carolyn Jordan, 75, of Dinwiddie County, departed this life on Friday, June 15, 2012 at home surrounded by family and friends. She devoted her life to her family. Married for 49 years to Gilbert Jordan, she was a mother to five children, and was preceded in death by her first three children, Lynn Keatley, Chuck Barron and Mark Barron. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert; her daughters, Dale Reeves and husband, Rudy and Kim Beckner. Beloved grandmother to Mike Collius and wife, Laura, Cody Barron, Jordan Reeves, Lindsay Beckner, Colin Reeves, Brooke Reeves, Hannah Beckner, Colby Beckner; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt and James Collius. She was loved by many and will be missed forever. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012 in her home. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
