Janet Lorraine Leiter, 63, of Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013. She was born September 6, 1949 to Charles Jesse and Mina Lydia Keysor Garrett. Mrs. Leiter was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Petersburg, where she blessed many hearts with her beautiful vocals. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Terry Gene Leiter; sons, Terry Gene Leiter II and wife, Laura LeAnn and Jeffrey Scott Leiter and fiancé, Callie Rubin; a daughter, Suzanne Leiter Missak and husband, George Krikor Missak; grandchildren, Jenna Kaitlin Leiter, Nathan Thomas Leiter, Matthew Eric Leiter, Sarah Elizabeth Leiter, Jonathan Dale Livesay, Blayne Alexander Carroll, Michael Joseph Carroll, Nicole Amy Missak, Joseph Gregory Missak, Jacob Zachary Missak, and Ethan Rubin; great-grandchildren, Braden and Dalen Livesay, Makenzie and Maddlyn Carroll; sisters, Annita Wilson, Sheila DeRose, and Emilie Johnson; brothers, Charles Garrett II, Joseph Garrett, Benjy Garrett, John Garrett, and Delbert Garrett; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Southside Baptist Church, 2007 Boydton Plank Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805 with Pastor Arthur Lands officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm. Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S.
