Jason Randolph Shively, 29 of Chesterfield, passed away Wednesday June 12, 2013. He was a 2001 Graduate of Manchester High School. Jason loved being outdoors, fishing, reading and his music. He enjoyed the beach and spent a lot of time there. Jason is survived by his father and step mother, Randolph Kelly and Roslyn T. Shively, his mother Carol Diane Thompson, his brother Brian Kelly Shively and Kelsey Zentmeyer and their son Colton Kelly Shively all of Chesterfield, paternal grandfather, Jimmy O. Shively of Richmond, maternal grandfather and wife, James E. and Elizabeth Thompson of Hopewell, maternal grandmother Lola Saylor of Blackstone, numerous aunts uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday June 18, 2013 in the Southside Church of the Nazarene, 6851 Courthouse Road Chesterfield, Virginia 23832 with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church. His remains rest at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights.
