Jean Belcher

Jean Annette Belcher, 83, of Matoaca, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022. She was born on June 7, 1939 to the late Ralph and Sarah Pond Belcher and attended Ettrick Methodist church. Mrs. Belcher retired as a meat cutter from Ettrick Supermarket and was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband, Johnny Belcher; granddaughter, Sarah Elaine Cheeks; brothers, Ralph, Lawrence “Sleepy”, John “Bubba”, Gerald “Jerry”, and Donald “Don” Belcher; and sister, Joyce Belcher. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Belcher; grandchildren, Jonathan and Jesse Cheeks; brother, Robert “Nicky” (Sue) Belcher; sister Shirley Nislar (Lou); and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Rd., South Prince George, Virginia 23805.  Online condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
